- Do my staff need to download an app?
- No. There is no app to install and no account to create. Staff open the phone camera, scan the QR poster on the wall, and the checklist opens in the browser.
- Do workers need logins or passwords?
- No. They tap their name to start. Where you want extra certainty against buddy-punching, you can turn on an optional 4-digit PIN per worker — that's the only credential, and only where it matters.
- What makes a KONQR record trustworthy?
- Four layers lock the moment a check is submitted: the QR binds the work to the exact spot, GPS stamps where the scan happened, the commit time comes from our server clock (not a phone), and the photo is taken live and watermarked with a unique code and timestamp. Every record is also hash-chained to the one before it, so editing or reordering any record breaks the chain.
- Can staff upload an old photo from their gallery?
- No. Proof photos open the rear camera directly — camera-now only. An old screenshot can't be passed off as today's work.
- What happens if the venue wifi drops mid-shift?
- The check is saved on the device and syncs automatically the moment the connection returns. Staff see a quiet 'saved, will sync' note and keep working — nothing is lost.
- Does GPS block a check if someone is off-site?
- Never. GPS is evidence, not a gate. An off-site scan still goes through — it's flagged with a reason on the record so the manager can see it, rather than blocking a real worker in a basement with no signal.
- What does it cost?
- Free while we build together — beta venues keep everything: unlimited zones, QR posters, workers, proof records, and the KONQR Grade. Paid tiers come later, with no surprises.
- What kinds of businesses is it for?
